10th GBDe Summit

Mr. Enomoto

Global Business Dialogue on e-Commerce (GBDe) is pleased to invite you to its 10th Annual Summit, scheduled to be held on October 31st, 2008, in San Francisco, USA.

GBDe provides a forum for discussing business models to accelerate growth in global e-commerce services, and for addressing social and technological issues of growing importance, such as consumer confidence and cyber security. As an organization of senior management executives from global corporations, GBDe is playing a significant role in the emerging ubiquitous network society.

Established in 1999, GBDe has become one of the most influential groups worldwide regarding global e-commerce policy and strategy, and is focusing its efforts on sustainable e-commerce business environment. Composed of CEOs and corporate directors, GBDe facilitates communication between the private and public sectors on cross-border e-commerce issues. From its inception, GBDe has attracted considerable attention and recognition as a business forum promoting self-regulation and harmonization of e-commerce policy. Now, ten years later, the heightened pace of globalization brings an even greater need for international business leadership to promote a responsible, frank and open conversation with government leaders on policies affecting transnational electronic commerce.

The 10th Anniversary Summit in San Francisco will provide you with a unique opportunity to interact with executives and policymakers from corporations, governments and non-governmental organizations. GBDe also warmly extends to you an invitation to attend its Gala Dinner, hosted on the evening of the 31st.

Attendance to the Summit is free, and is limited to invitees only. This invitation is non-transferable. If you would like to have an additional invitation, or to send a substitute attendee, please contact the GBDe Secretariat at gbde@wcore.com.

Summit details, including an agenda, accommodations, and travel information, will be updated regularly and provided via the GBDe website.

I look forward to seeing you in San Francisco.
Sincerely yours,

Mr. Takashi Enomoto,
2008 GBDe Overall Chair
