The Global Business Dialogue on e-Commerce (GBDe) is pleased to invite you to its 11th Annual Summit on November 5th, 2009 in Munich, Germany.
GBDe, established in 1999, is one of the most influential groups on global e-commerce policy and strategy. Comprised of CEOs and corporate directors, GBDe facilitates communication between the private and public sectors on cross-border e-commerce issues. Since its inception, GBDe has attracted considerable attention as a business forum promoting self-regulation and harmonization of e-commerce policy.
The present economic state has created enormous uncertainty and challenges around the world. GBDe believes e-business should serve as a vehicle for alleviating consumers’ and organizations’ concerns and help turn our experiences into positive outcomes. As this year’s theme states, let us strive for "a better future, safe and worry free,
" through our constructive and forward-looking discussions.
The 2009 Summit in Munich will provide you with a valuable opportunity to interact with executives and policymakers from corporations, governments and non-governmental organizations. GBDe also warmly extends an invitation to attend its Gala Dinner, on the evening of November 5th.
Attendance at the Summit is free, and is limited to invitees only. This invitation is non-transferable. If you would like to have an additional invitation, or to send a substitute attendee, please contact the GBDe Secretariat at cpc@gbde.org.
I look forward to seeing you in Munich.
Sincerely yours,
Mr. Takashi Enomoto,
2009 GBDe Overall Chair
